The student teachers are evaluated internally and externally in each year. The External examination will be conducted by the Director of Government Examination, Chennai.
A Board of Examiners constituted by the SCERT, validate the internal assessment marks, with reference to the records maintained. The Board will also observe the relevant records and finalize the marks based on the teaching skill of the trainees.
To bring out the learning outcome of student teachers. Everyday a unit test is conducted in each subject. To know the achievements, terminal examinations are also held in each term. After the completion of syllabi, revision examinations are held which are helpful to student-teachers for facing the Board Examination.
